2 weeks earlier, during one of the random lunch breaks, elaine sng walked up to me and said, "xuandao, your hair is so curly."

wow. i really didnt know that. maybe by some freak accident my hair started to curl one morning when i woke up, and i received a huge shock when i found that it couldnt be straight again.

and again, a few days ago, gladys tan peiwen (portrait of whom prominently displayed below) asked me, "xuandao did you perm your hair or something? its so curly."

sighs.

and even my bestest best friend weiliang (exact same combi, yo) asked me why my hair is so curly.

clearly, there is a need to clarify about the nature of my hair.

1. no, its not curly. its wavy. slightly wavy.
2. no, i didnt perm it.
3. no, i didnt rebond it.
4. no, i never thought of rebonding it.
5. yes, it is always messy because its so wavy.
6. if you took a strand of my hair and put it on your palm, it will read 'C'. but if its longer it'll read 'O', not 'S'.
7. no, no freak accidents happened such that one morning when i woke up i discovered that my hair turned curly and i screamed and jumped around in exasperation when i realised it couldnt be straight again.
8. no, gladys, you cant cut my hair for me.
